SCA PAYROLL BLOAT! DO YOU CARE?
In 2015 the audited annual Payroll and Benefits equaled $2,865,732.
By 2019 it had grown to $3,670,530.
After taking a COVID dip in 2020 it went to $3,967,155 in 2021.
YOUR SCA BOARD ALLOWED IT TO GET TO $4,540,304 in 2022 while your Main Reserves were dropping. Try financially irresponsible.
But we are not done. The 2023 PAYROLL & BENEFITS Budget was ratified at $ 5,091,800.
Through July 2023, the 7 months are reported at $2,836,154 equivalent to the entire 2015 year.
So what’s in store for 2024? Does it matter? Do you care? If so, speak up. The Board approves the 2024 Budget September 28. We are poorly managed.

This is scary and unnecessary. Did everyone who is working at SCA get a pay increase? If so, how much? And please be open and honest and show us what other similar HOAs are paying for salaries.
You can do your own survey by making a records request of both 2023 payroll by job title and same with 2024 when Budget is ratified in November. The non contract players got 4% in 2024 Budget but look at increases from 2021, 2022 and 2023 to see real escalation.
