GOODBYE,FAREWELL & AMEN!
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away I ,as the Chief Financial Officer of 20th Century Fox Television, had the privilege of attending the final M*A*S*H wrap party at THE BISTRO in Beverly Hills. For those of you that remember, the final episode was entitled Goodbye, Farewell and Amen! The wrap party was a gala affair with lots to celebrate and acknowledge. I have so many good memories. My mission with SCA has now been accomplished and so it is time for me to say my Goodbye, Farewell & Amen! I am so proud of this beautiful community that stepped up for change and justice. Your votes mattered. I thank you again. I have made new friends as a result of working the issues together with them and it was so much fun for me. This community applauds its volunteers. Well I volunteered for a committee of one to eradicate the bad actors. I worked the plan for 2 years. It worked and I have now laid down my sword. I gave myself an award for best performance by a poked bear. We prevailed. As I said to you some time ago ,I would be going fishing with my son in Alaska at end of July and would host a couple fish cook offs sharing with some of you the bounty as a celebration of our great victory in creating a great opportunity for a new board majority to accomplish great things. And with Seddon and Anderson ( two of the bad actors) in the rear view mirror anything is possible. From time to time, I will probably chime in on financial issues such as budgets and the restaurant results as well as my travels. I believe the best is yet to come for SCA and I wish all of you glorious senior years. And I wish our new board wisdom with their governance. I am off to Italy this June with my beautiful and loving girlfriend seeking a great red sauce. I am a lucky guy. We start in Milan, the Italian fashion capital, and I will be looking to buy her one or two beautiful Italian silk scarfs to wear in a rented convertible on our road trip in the Fall down Highway 1 in California. It’s on her bucket list. I am just going along for the ride. LOL! Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur, San Luis Obispo, Cambria and Hearst Castle, Morrow Bay and Santa Barbara. Ciao! Have a great summer! Hope to be cooking you some fish and together celebrating our great victory!Until next time….Robert |
Thanks for all you did, the literally ungodly attacks you received for simply wanting fiscal responsibility and transparency were unconscionable and perpetrated by a very sick individual. Homeowners appreciated your work that shed light on the former leadership and management team. Due to your persistence a new team will guide the community on a different path forward. Your hard work and diligent research to inform homeowners paid off.
