UNDECIDED VOTERS? DOES IT MATTER?
UNDECIDED VOTER? DOES IT MATTER?
This election is so important because it all gets down to Sandy Seddon and if the current board majority or chosen replacements remain in power I guarantee you that Sandy Seddon will get a new 3 year contract with a substantial raise. Steve Anderson would have given it to her already or a bonus except he didn’t want to expose himself before the election.
Let me be clear. Donna Griffith despite her excelllent qualities and service to SCA is in the Sandy Seddon contract renewal camp and for that reason you should not vote for her. Current board members Steve Anderson, Bruce Stanley, Barry Rubinson and most likely Pam Williams will support a new contract. And if Sandy Seddon survives this election SCA is going to have her very expensive contract until she retires and I promise you your assessments will escalate dramatically over the years. Don’t be fooled. It matters.
With nearly 2400 votes cast I predict somewhere between 300 and 800 votes are yet to be cast. The only way to ensure a sound economic future for SCA is for the undecideds to vote for not just John Marshall, Forest Quinn but, BEN LEIBSON,too. I understand some of you would have liked more from Ben and unfortunately due to the death of his wife he has been unavailable but chose not to withdraw because he knows how much is at stake. He is solid on the Sandy Seddon issue and that is the most important issue in this election. Donna is well liked and she should be for all her faithful and excellent service but that doesn’t mean voting for her is in the best interests of homeowners because she supports retaining Sandy Seddon….. guaranteed.
So if you are inclined to agree that Sandy Seddon needs to be replaced( and I hope you do) then the ONLY way to guarantee that result is to have 4 Board votes. If you elect John Marshall, Ben Leibson and Forrest Quinn together with current board member Rick Ernest you will have the necessary 4. Any other configuration will give you more failed leadership and escalating yearly assessments. And I am told that the newly hired Deputy COO is an excellent candidate to takeover and cutting Seddon loose will give some relief to the bloated payroll.
So to the undecided voters you have the power to decide this election and ensure the needed change. Please vote for BEN LEIBSON as well as John Marshall and Forrest Quinn. Readers please stay focused. We have two weeks of voting left. Your votes and efforts do matter. There will be consequences.
The pocketbook you save will be your own.
Until next time…Robert
