HOLIDAY BREAK!

To new readers as well as existing readers welcome to THE LULL! I have been very aggressive in stating issues that confront how we are being governed and the financial impact on homeowners. I do not want to lose sight of what a wonderful community we live in and all the wonderful opportunities and joy one can experience. But just like our country, things can and do go bad. The world is a mess and I fear the day a series of terrorist attacks hit us at home. When that happens, these HOA issues will be small and seem very unimportant and they will be. Survival and Security will be what we are focused on for ourselves and our loved ones.

SCA has some fundamental issues to confront in 2024 but now is the time for a Holiday Break and to enjoy family and friends. Hopefully the terrorists hold off. This may be our last normal Thanksgiving and Christmas season for a while as I fear( being a little psychic) that rough times are around the corner. I urge all of you to think about what you will do to protect yourselves should the inevitable happen sooner rather than later.

I personally have lots of travel plans in 2024 but my bookings are fully insured. My kids find it very difficult to buy gifts for me. This year I suggested ammo and other survival related items. Maybe one of those solar generators. For those of you that hate negative thoughts, I urge you hear this as a message of hope and preparedness. And for those of us that debate the contentious HOA issues they will mean very little when the explosions and fear are our #1 concern.

But if we are lucky enough to have one or more holiday seasons in our peaceful and wonderful community then let’s celebrate this life. I intend to go dark through 2023 unless something very newsworthy happens. I will return in January as contentious as ever hoping to elect a new board majority that will govern us better.
